League of Friends Final Gift Funding
The League of Friends was invited by the Frimley trust to fund the provision of
some three D murals for the new front entrance of the hospital.
The league opted to spend it's final allowance towards the new timeline murals.
Once all the league's liabilities had been paid, a cheque for £52.529.22 was
presented to the trust for the timeline gift.
The league shortly afterwards concluded it's business and was wound up and the
charity commissioners were informed.
Established in 1958, the league concluded 61 years of voluntary service to the
hospital.
